Vista FD responds to Motor Vehicle Accident on 07/02/18

On Monday around 1553 hours, the Vista and South Salem Fire Departments were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with extrication at the intersection of Elmwood Road and Wakeman Road. Vista Fire Chief Jeff Peck was first on the scene and confirmed extrication with entrapment. The occupant was extricated from the vehicle by the Vista & South Salem Firefighters on scene and was evaluated by Vista EMS & Norwalk EMS Paramedics. The vehicle's operator was transported with Vista EMS and Norwalk EMS Paramedics on board.

Vista Firefighters closed traffic on Elmwood Road and the scene was handed over to Lewisboro Police shortly after 1800 hours, at which point all Vista & South Salem Fire Department units were cleared from the scene and returned to service.
