The Vista Fire Department is proud to announce the following Foremen taking office effective May 1, 2018 and lasting until April 30, 2019 after being appointed by Chief Jeff Peck for this upcoming fiscal year:

Lead Foreman Marc Baiocco - Engine 141
Foreman Dan Castelhano - Engine 142
Foreman Will Pope - Engine 143
Foreman Adam Bartley - Tanker 4
Foreman Karen Lilly - Ambulance 22
Foreman Mike Canil - Ambulance 25

All Foremen positions are appointed by the Chief of Department.

Here is some more information on our Foremen for 2018-2019:

Lead Foreman Marc Baiocco - Lead Foreman Baiocco has been with the VFD since January 2015, winning the VFD Rookie of the Year award in 2016-2017, the VFD Firefighter of the Year award in 2017-2018 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Engine 141 while contributing to the VFD's Training Division and Mentor Program. Lead Foreman Baiocco is also the Superintendent of the Elmsford School District in Elmsford, New York. Lead Foreman Baiocco has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since September 2015.

Foreman Dan Castelhano - Foreman Castelhano has been with the VFD since May 2016 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Engine 142. Foreman Castelhano contributes to the VFD's Pre-Plans and Mentor Program. Foreman Castelhano has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since September 2017.

Foreman Will Pope - Foreman Pope has been with the Vista FD since August 2012 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Engine 143. Foreman Pope contributes to the VFD's Pre-Plans program and our Mentor Program. Foreman Pope has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since May 2017.

Foreman Adam Bartley - Foreman Bartley has been with the Vista FD since May 2015, winning the VFD Rookie of the Year award in 2016-2017 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Tanker 4. Foreman Bartley was a member with the Weston (CT) Volunteer Fire Department for nearly 20 years before joining the VFD. Foreman Bartley contributes to the VFD's Gear & Equipment and Hydrants Operations. Foreman Bartley has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since May 2016.

Foreman Karen Lilly- Foreman Lilly has been with the Vista FD since February 2011, winning the VFD EMT of the Year award in 2012-2013 and overseeing the day-to-day operations for Ambulance 22. Foreman Lilly contributes to the VFD's Training Division and the VFD's EMS shift schedule program. Foreman Lilly has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since May 2017.

Foreman Mike Canil - Foreman Canil has been with the Vista FD since November 2014 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Ambulance 25 while contributing to the VFD's Recruitment & Retention program and Hydrant Operations. Foreman Canil has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since March 2016.
