As part of training on our new ambulance, several members spent their Thursday night taking a "train the trainer" course for the new Stryker stretcher.
A representative from Stryker went through the entire stretcher by showing the in's & out's of the new piece of EMS equipment and now the trained members can teach fellow personnel on the new stretcher going forward. The new Stryker stretcher is a motorized piece of equipment that will help Vista FD personnel from not straining any muscles while lifting a patient during an EMS call.
Many thanks to Stryker for taking the time out on Thursday night to train our members!
