This past Sunday morning we held a "MPO Class" and Driver Training for our members who are becoming Apparatus Drivers on our Ambulances.
This week's "MPO Class" had our prospective Engine 142 & Engine 143 drivers practice learning how to use each pump panel. Our prospective Engine 142 drivers practiced drafting and supplying water to Engine 143, while our prospective Engine 143 drivers pumped water to an 1-3/4" hose line to simulate hose line advancement during a residential structure fire. This type of training is what will help our prospective Apparatus Drivers/MPOs become cleared drivers on Engine 142 & Engine 143.
