We at the Vista Fire Department would like to congratulate EMT Candidate Jasmine Lilly on completing her probationary period in the Department through the VFD Mentor Program!

Since joining in May 2017, EMT Candidate Lilly actively participates during calls & drills and has been mentored throughout her probationary period by EMT Leslie Smith.

The VFD Mentor Program is a process where new members are paired up with a senior member to help guide them through their probationary period in the Department. This program was developed to help transition new members into the Department by understanding call response, attending weekly Monday drills and preparing them for classes they may be taking in their 1st year with the Department.
