This past Sunday morning we held a "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" and Driver Training for our members who are becoming Apparatus Drivers on Engine 141 & Engine 143.

This week's "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" had our Firefighters reviewing roof operations by going over the saws located on Engine 141 followed by a practical on how to properly cut a roof with each saw. After the conclusion of this training our Firefighters practiced their 25-second drills on donning & doffing their gear. This type of training is what will help our Firefighters who plan on attending the New York State Firefighter I program succeed in their class and for our Firefighters who have completed Firefighter I to keep up with their skills.
