On Thursday morning at 0740 hours, Vista Firefighters and EMTs were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Beaver Pond Lane and Smith Ridge Road. The occupant self extricated prior to arrival and were evaluated by Vista EMS, with the occupant refusing medical attention.

Vista Firefighters controlled traffic on Smith Ridge Road and the scene was handed over to Lewisboro Police after 0830 hours, at which point all Vista Fire Department units were cleared from the scene and returned to service.
