This past Sunday morning four of our Firefighters participated in the 3rd Annual National Stair Climb for Fallen Firefighters at Belmont Park in Elmon, New York. Representing the Vista Fire Department was Foreman Adam Bartley, Probationary FF/EMT Candidate Olivia Buzzeo, Firefighter Ryan Ruggiero & Firefighter Patrick Healy as they climbed the equivalent of 110 stories to symbolize the number of floors in the Twin Towers.

The National Stair Climb benefits the FDNY CSU, helps cover the costs for FDNY families to attend Memorial Weekend and the programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) to support the families of our nation’s fallen firefighters.
