"New officers will soon realize that their recent promotion is more than just a newly colored helmet and a different title. From dealing with station situations that can frustrate even a seasoned officer, to making things "happen" on the fire ground and at the fire station, we will share their experiences to help prepare you for the officer challenge. The course features an introduction to strategy and tactics, ICS and safety concerns. Students will participate in various role plays, interactive problem solving exercises and fire simulation scenarios. This program is appropriate for newly appointed company officers and firefighters looking toward their next promotion."
