This week's "Sunday Stretch" training saw our Firefighters review how to properly advance an 1-3/4" hose line while one of our members went through his qualification test on Engine 142. Vista Firefighters practiced advancing a charged 1-3/4" hose line into a structure and reviewed techniques on how to extinguish specific fires throughout the scenarios.
Following the "Sunday Stretch" class, our members had a quick breakfast followed by our drivers currently training on Engine 141, Tanker 4, Rescue 13 and Ambulance 84B1 getting more training hours as they continue to prepare themselves as cleared drivers on a specific piece of apparatus.
