With a "Winter Storm Warning" in effect for the Vista Fire District all day Wednesday into Thanksgiving Thursday, several members of the VFD spent Tuesday night preparing the Firehouse for the pending snowstorm by putting chains on all the Department's apparatus.
The Vista FD puts chains on all of our apparatus so we can safely respond during any type of Fire or EMS incident during and after a snowstorm when roads & driveways may still be hazardous.
Please be safe on the roadways today!
Wooden boards are placed on the bay floors of the Vista Firehouse so the chains do not damage them
