Following our weekly Sunday breakfast, our Vista Firefighters and EMT's spent their Sunday morning continuing to clean their Apparatus for the upcoming Annual Inspection Dinner on June 4th. The Annual Inspection Dinner is a longstanding tradition in the Emergency Services where a Department invites several top officials in New York State & Westchester County, surrounding Fire Departments and surrounding Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
All Vista Fire Department members are assigned to a piece of apparatus throughout the year with the goal being the winner of our Annual Inspection to be held on June 4th. The winning apparatus is determined by who is the cleanest and which piece of apparatus is completely in service by the day of their inspection.
