Last night, both the Vista and South Salem Fire Departments trained together by taking the annual OSHA course led by Ex-Chief Bill Dingee. During the course Emergency personnel from both Departments went over how to response safely to a call, an overview of confined space & awareness, an overview of Hazardous Materials operations and several other important topics that Emergency responders have to go over at least once a year.

As neighboring Departments, both the Vista & South Salem Fire Departments try to train together once a month in the event of a mutual aid response.
