Following our weekly Sunday Breakfast for the membership, several of our new drivers were tested on Engine 141 & Engine 142 to qualify them as Apparatus operators. The new Engine drivers had to show Capt. Mike Peck that they could properly get a draft out of a dry hydrant, supply the attack engine with constant water flow and supply water to multiple hoselines like they would during a structure fire. Following the completion of this training Capt. Mike Peck cleared three new Engine drivers at the Vista Fire Department.
The Vista Fire Department is always looking for new members and people interested in becoming Apparatus operators! If you would like to join visit our "Become a Member" tab at VistaFD.org!
