Yesterday the Vista Fire Department spent their Sunday morning training new drivers on several pieces of apparatus to help improve our roster of apparatus drivers.
Members were trained on the Ambulances, Engine 142 and Engine 141 this past Sunday morning as we continue to train apparatus drivers in the Vista FD. We encourage all our Firefighters & Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's) to become apparatus drivers in the Vista Fire Department as it helps make all of our members become well-rounded first responders.
The VFD is always looking for more drivers, whether it be for our Fire Apparatus or our Ambulances! If you're interested in serving the community and learning how to drive these emergency response vehicles please visit VistaFD.org!
