This Sunday morning we held an "Introductory Bailout Training Practical," a "Recertification Bailout Training Practical" and Driver Training for our members who are becoming Apparatus Drivers on the Ambulances for our weekly Sunday Training

This Sunday's "Introductory Bailout Training Practical" had our Firefighting personnel who recently became Interior Firefighters completing the final portion of our bailout system training to become certified on the system. Vista Firefighters conducted four "jumps" using different techniques and procedures on how to operate the bailout system. This training has now certified our Interior Firefighters on the bailout system issued by the Vista Fire Department.

This Sunday's "Recertification Bailout Training Practical" had our Firefighting personnel recertifying on our bailout system. Vista Firefighters conducted three "jumps" using different techniques and procedures on how to operate our bailout system. This training has now recertified our interior firefighters on the bailout system that the Vista Fire Department uses for the next year. We would like to thank the South Salem Fire Department for allowing us to use their bailout training prop and to several of their members for helping us with any logistics at the South Salem Firehouse!
